Breakpoints for fluconazole resistance (16) are ≤8 μg/ml (susceptible), 16 to 32 μg/ml (susceptible-dose dependent), and ≥64 μg/ml (resistant). Breakpoints for terbinafine are not available, but for the purposes of discussion a breakpoint of >8 μg/ml is taken to indicate apparent in vitro resistance.
