aOne of the nine items of the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE II) tool that was used for a final selection: To be included in the final list, guidelines must have an average total score of 45 or more for the nine key items across two reviewers and a minimum score of 3 for items 7, 8, 12, and 22 (bold numbers) (both reviewers independently). Scoring for each item ranges from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree) and reflects “relevance” for each clinical practice guideline.
