aThe PTSD Checklist for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-Fifth Edition (PCL-5) was used with a validated cutoff for identifying probable PTSD among veterans. Scores <31 on the PCL-5 indicate subthreshold or no PTSD. PCL-5 scores ≥31 suggest probable benefit from PTSD treatment.
bPTSD: posttraumatic stress disorder.
cPain intensity assessed using the 0-10 Numeric Rating Scale and categorized using a valid cutoff.
