Cellular luminescence images were captured of A549 cells that had been pretreated with 50 mM glucose in DMEM medium for 30 minutes, followed by co-incubation with 5 μM IR-780 cyanine dye and 10 μM probe A in glucose-free DMEM medium for 30 minutes. Yellow channel fluorescence images were gained employing 488 nm excitation and recorded between 550 and 650 nm. Additionally, magenta channel II was applied to capture near-infrared luminescence emitted from mitochondria-specific IR-780 cyanine dye between 750 and 800 nm under 635 nm excitation.
