Inclusion criteria:

  • Patients with alopecic plaques affecting the scalp, eyebrows and ⁄ or beard


Exclusion criteria:

  • AT and AU

  • Use of systemic drugs to treat AA

  • Immunosuppression

  • Use of immunosuppresive treatments

  • Pregnancy
Interventions Intervention 1: Clobetasol propionate cream 0.5 mg/mL twice a day for 12 weeks
Intervention 2: Vaseline cream (placebo) twice daily for 12 weeks
Outcomes Assessment at 12 weeks
