Adherence to Sleep Hygiene and Stimulus Control Recommendations at Each Session, expressed as a proportion of opportunities to adhere to recommendations

Notes: Participants documented their adherence to each recommendation in their daily sleep dairy (see Supplementary Figures S3 and S4). The overall proportion was calcualted for all recommendations given each week. No stimulus control or sleep hygiene recommendations were given in Session 1 for CBT-I. Adherence was higher for ABC-I compared to CBT-I for weeks 2ā€“4 (*pā€™s<.05). CBT-I: Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia; ABC-I acceptance and behavioral changes ot treat insomnia.
