Predictive models based on microbiota and clinical index for early distinction of 30-day poor outcomes. Poor (mRS ≥ 3) and good (mRS<3) outcomes at the 30-day follow-up were defined in patients. The candidate variables of microbiota with an adjusted p value of < 0.05 in the multivariate logistic regression model. Model 1 (A) included age, initial NIHSS score, enteral nutrition, atrial fibrillation, dysphagia, and NLR. Model 2 (B) included indicators of critical illness (GCS, APACHE-II and SOFA scores and the length of ICU stay). mRS modified Rankin Scale; NIHSS National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale; NLR neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio; GCS Glasgow Coma Scale; APACHE-II Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation; SOFA Sequential Organ Failure Assessment scores
