Incidental MRI-detected lesions not visible on bilateral mammograms or ultrasound were biopsied if they were BI-RADS 3–5 lesions. Two cases of incidental lesions (a fibroadenoma of 5 mm (A) and a carcinoma of no special type of 7 mm (B)) detected in women in their mid-60s with breast cancer were not detected prior to MRI on either mammography or ultrasound.
