Evaluation of apoptosis in MCF-7 cells induced by lead compounds (5b, A and 3a, B) at 5 and 10 μM for 24 h. Control MCF–7 cells or MCF–7 cells treated with lead compounds (5b, A and 3a, B) were stained with Annexin V–AbFluor™ 488/PI Apoptosis Detection (Abbkine, KTA0002, Wuhan, China) followed by flow cytometry analysis. The percentage of apoptotic cells is indicated. Significant changes from the control group are shown by (* p < 0.05, *** p < 0.01) of three independent assays.
