^aNIH 3T3 fibroblasts were transfected with the 28-μg plasmid DNAs as described in Materials and Methods, and the number of transformed foci were scored at 24 to 27 days posttransfection. Rapamycin was added daily at the concentrations indicated. The numbers of foci are shown for each 10-cm-diameter dish. H-ras and v-mos are expression plasmids for activated H-ras and MSV v-mos genes, respectively.
