Rab5 and Rab7 are required for MSRV endocytosis. (A) The knockdown efficiency of Rab5. EPC cells were transfected with siCtrl, siRab5-1, or siRab5-2. At 24 h post transfection, the cells were collected for detecting the quantity of Rab5 by RT-qPCR. β-actin was used as the internal control. (B and C) Rab5 knockdown reduced the replication of MSRV. EPC cells were transfected with siRab5-2 or siCtrl, and infected with MSRV (MOI of 0.1) at 24 h post transfection. At 24 hpi, the viral RNA of infected cells was determined by RT-qPCR, and the N protein expression was detected by WB. (D) The knockdown efficiency of Rab7.
