Representative case of an eye with a thick retina and poor full-field stimulus testing (FST). Vertical and horizontal OCT (A) scans show the moderately remaining outer nucear layer (ONL) of the fovea with a relatively preserved retinal structure. The average retinal thickness (RET) near the macula (B) was 242 μm, which is equivalent to that of a normal subject. The eye had been diagnosed as hand motion (HM). All of the pupillay responses (D) except for rod response were clearly present. On the other hand, FST sensitivities (C) were relatively poor with threshold values over 0 decibels (dB). The result of the Goldman visual field test (E) shows that a very constricted visual field remained in the center.
