Glucocorticoid increases Bcl-2/GR complex formation in PM-treated A549 cells. (a) The whole cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with GR antibody, and western blot was performed with Bcl2 or GR antibody after immunoprecipitation. (b) A549 cells were treated with PM (300 µg/ml) as indicated for 24 h and immunostaining was followed using anti-GR or Bcl2 antibody. (c) Cells were stained with Tom20, and immunostaining was followed using anti-GR antibody. The inset shows GR on the mitochondria. Values represent the mean ± SEM (N = 3). *P < 0.05, **P < 0.005, ***P < 0.001. All experiments were repeated three times. The images of the original blots are available in Supplementary Fig. 2.
