Antioxidant vs NOX-2 inhibitory effects of clozapine in MEFs.

MEFs were pre-exposed for 1 h (A) or 24 h (B) to CLZ and then treated for 15 min with either 100 μM H2O2 or 0.162 μM PMA. After treatments, the cells were analysed for DCF fluorescence. CTR samples received DMSO alone. Data are expressed in % respect to untreated CTR cells. Results represent the means ± SEM calculated from at least three independent determinations. **p < 0.01, as compared to CTR cells. ns: not significant (Unpaired t-test).
