After ineffective first- and second-line treatment, in the absence of the possibility to determine the antibiotic sensitivity of the bacteria, the following are recommended for rescue therapy: dual therapy with high doses of PPI and amoxicillin, therapy with rifabutin, quadruple therapy with bismuth and other antibiotics.
