The HA–DP polymer was dissolved in DI water, then added to culture plate in the presence of 10 M NaOH. The plates were incubated overnight and washed with DI water before seeding the cells. An enlarged image on top left shows interaction between HA polymer and LYVE-1 receptor, one of the key glycoprotein receptors of LECs. Lymphatic phenotypes were analysed using flow cytometry, immunofluorescent imaging, and real-time RT-PCR.
