Effects of chaperonin 60 (Cpn60) on the activation of C/EBPβ. 3T3-L1 cells were cultured with MDI or MDI + 1 μg/mL Cpn60 for 0, 8, 16, and 24 h and total and nuclear proteins were extracted. The relative protein levels of C/EBPβ were assessed using western blot analysis (A) and quantified densitometrically (B). The p values were determined using the Student’s t-test. Differences were considered significant at p < 0.05 (*) and p < 0.01 (**). The full-length images of the blots are shown in Supplementary Fig. 7.
