Such learning-based gene activation is essential for the brain to reshape its neural network to encode new information as memory. After learning stimulation, m6A modifications would be added to transcripts of learning-induced genes and further enhance mRNA translation, neural network long-term potentiation, and the efficacy of mouse long-term memory formation.
