Phylogenetic tree based on the neighbor-joining analysis of the combined ITS, BenA, CaM, and RPB2 dataset for Penicillium species classified in the Charlesia section. Penicillium eremophilum was added as the most related species to the Charlesia section. Aspergillus oryzae was included as an outgroup. Bootstrap analysis was performed with 1000 replications with values of at least 50% indicated at the nodes. The bar indicates the number of substitutions per position. Each branch indicates taxon name and strain name sequentially. (T) indicates the type strain of the species. The isolate in this study is marked as (Inline graphic).
