Height was compared with limb muscle mass in males and females from the LACE study. In both males (r = 0.57 p<0.001) and females (r = 0.61, p<0.001) there was a strong association of leg muscle mass with height. Arm muscle mass was also associated with height in both males (r = 0.51, p<0.001) and females (r = 0.52, p<0.001).
