Southern hybridization of pDTG1 to naphthalene-catabolic plasmids retrieved from sediment microorganisms after filter matings with recipient strain Cg9.CR. The plasmids were cut with XhoI and run on a 0.7% agarose gel. Plasmids were isolated from parent strain Cg9 (lane 1) and transconjugant colonies (lanes 2 to 9).
