This juvenile spiny lobster (Panulirus sp.) from the Galápagos island of Floreana was found on an open beach, vulnerable to predators. Crustaceans, and in particular decapod crustaceans like crabs and lobsters, deserve strong welfare consideration in all capacities where humans are interacting with them.
