Neuropathic Pain Symptom Inventory (NPSI) subscales score measured before surgery in the analyzed group of seven patients: Subscales: Q1- burning (superficial); Q2- pressure and Q3 squeezing (deep); Q5- electric shocks and Q6- stabbing (paroxysmal); Q8- evoked by brushing, Q9- evoked by pressure and Q10- evoked by cold stimuli (evoked); Q11- pins and needles, and Q12 tingling (paresthesia/dysesthesia), Q4- spontaneous pain during the past 24 h, Q7- pain attack during the past 24 h (6, 20).
