Fig. 11 — ( A ) Venous malformation persistent till age 23 years. ( B ) There was dramatic resolution in just one treatment with 1,064-nm Nd:YAG (neodymium:yttrium aluminum garnet) laser at 110 J/cm ² , triple pulse of 8 milliseconds and 30-millisecond delays between pulses, 20 shots. Venous malformations respond early to laser treatment as compared with those arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) with arterial dominance.
