Reactions were performed as described in the legend for Fig. 4 but 8 μg of protein per 30 μl of reaction mixture (240 μg) and the ssDNA generated from the indicated recombinant phagemids were used. The autoradiogram was overexposed to visualize the bands corresponding to the RS_B mutants (pA-G6 and pA-G7) and to the double mutant (pA-G3G7).
