Effect of GML on growth of B. anthracis. Samples of a stationary-phase culture (750 μl) were inoculated into 25 ml of R medium supplemented with 0.8% sodium bicarbonate. Cultures were grown with GML concentrations of 0, 5, 10, 15, and 20 μg/ml, and growth was monitored at 2, 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, and 24 h after inoculation.
