Liver extract from the indicated source was incubated with [³H]-corticosterone and NADPH, and the amount of [³H]-corticosterone remaining after 30 minutes was determined (Mean ± SEM [³H]-corticosterone % 0 minutes). Two-way ANOVA revealed a main effect of sex (F [1, 15] = 38.13, P < .0001), wherein males showed greater metabolism than females, with no genotype effect (F [1, 15] = .2026, P < .6590).
