Frequency and content of hypoglycaemia discussions in primary care visits for patients using hypoglycaemia-causing medications. All percentages are the subset of total visits for patients using hypoglycaemia-causing medications (N = 242). Details of hypoglycaemic events were discussed in 37 of 51 (73%) visits in which a hypoglycaemic event occurred, which included event context (27/51 visits, 53%), frequency (13/51 visits, 25%), severity (17/51 visits, 33%), and/or hypoglycaemia unawareness (17/51 visits, 33%).
