The weight gain of the MTrPs rats was faster during the rest stage than that of the model rats, but it was still significantly different from that of the control group. (C) In the MTrPs group, the paw withdrawal threshold (PWT) decreased gradually at the beginning of the modelling stage, and the PWT was markedly different from that of the control group beginning in the fourth week.
