Visualization of the estimated interaction effect of the $\mu$-phase and (log) $\mu$-band power of the C3-Hjorth signal in predicting MEP-amplitude (response): For high $\mu$-band power, the early rising phase is the state of highest excitability, whereas for low $\mu$-band power, the early falling phase is the high-excitability state. These results align with previous findings (Hussain et al., 2019, Zrenner et al., 2023).
