Results from simulation scenarios 1–3. For Bayesian inference, r_λ,3 was fixed to its true value (r_λ,3 = 1.0) for all scenarios. For scenario 1, out of 100 simulation replicates, 84 yielded ESS > 200 for all estimated parameters. For scenario 2, all simulation replicates yielded ESS > 200 for all the parameters, whereas for scenario 3 in total 96 replicates yielded ESS > 200 for all estimated parameters.
