Estimated resource requirements for cerebral geometry using APR vs eFSI. At this grid spacing and resolution ratio, the total estimated memory needed is 5 orders of magnitude smaller using APR. Thus an APR simulation can fit on a single node while the eFSI model would be unable to fit on a single system.
