Model of author’s preferred technique of extraphyseal MPFC reconstruction with partial patellar tendon medialization (PPTM) (right knee). The posterior tibialis allograft is placed distal to the medial flare of the distal femoral physis and inserts on the proximal third of the patella and the distal vastus intermedius. This anatomically reconstructs both the MPFL and the MQTFL. The vastus medialis and the vastus lateralis are not pictured.
