Laminarin reduces hepatic lipid deposition in HFD-fed mice. C57BL/6J mice were fed either a ND or a HFD for 14 weeks, and then, the mice were gavaged as indicated once a day for 8 weeks. Liver tissue samples from the treated mice were collected, stained, and applied for H&E staining. Hepatic TC, TG, and TBA were measured.
