The upper and lower arrowheads in lanes 2 and 3 denote the processed β subunits and the TGα subunits, respectively, while the arrow denotes each unprocessed TGA fusion precursor. The mass of the TGα subunit in lane 2 is slightly higher than that of the TGα subunit in lane 3 because of the presence of the signal peptide in the fusion.
