Conditions (schematically described in Fig. 2A) are as follows: (A) MSCs cultured for 2 days in standard culture media in 20% O2; (B) MSCs cultured for 2 days in standard culture media in 1% O2; (C) MSCs cultured as in (A) and additional 3 days under hypoxia and serum deprivation; (D) MSCs cultured as in (B) and additional 3 days under hypoxia and serum deprivation.
