General experimental conditions: Method A: continuous flow reactors, feed 1, dissolve 5 mmol of methyl nicotinate (1a) in 10 mL tert-amyl alcohol; feed 2, dissolve 10 mmol of isobutylamine (2a) in 10 mL tert-amyl alcohol, flow rate 17.8 μL min−1, residence time 35 min, enzyme 870 mg, 50 °C. Method B: shaker reactors, add 5 mmol of methyl nicotinate (1a), 10 mmol of isobutylamine (2a) and 20 mL tert-amyl alcohol to a 50 mL Erlenmeyer flask, enzyme 870 mg, 160 rpm, 50 °C, 24 h.
