The N-terminus of ZFP100 binds to the C-terminal Sm domain of Lsm11. (A) Structure of various constructs containing murine Lsm11. (C) GST pull-down assay with HA-tagged Sm D2. The bound ³⁵S-labelled proteins were analysed by SDS–PAGE and detected by PhosphorImager. Input, 1/10 the amount used in the binding assays. Note that only N136 does not bind to GST-ZFP^1–169, whereas all fragments encoding the two Sm motifs bind efficiently.
