1GYRA is a component of the bacterial DNA gyrase. Mutations in this protein may cause fluoroquinolones resistance (Lampidis, 2002).2MprF confers resistance to cell membrane disrupting cationic peptides (defensins) (Thedieck et al., 2006).3NorB confers resistance to fluoroquinolones and tetracycline (Alcock et al., 2023).4Mutations in tufAB (components of EF-Tu) may cause resistance to elfamycins (Prezioso et al., 2017).
