Pro-inflammatory cytokines of PCLS are increased in an age-dependent manner upon infection with P. aeruginosa. PCLS were infected with P. aeruginosa PAO1 or D61 for 8 h. Supernatants and lysates of technical duplicates (Ctrl) or triplicates (PAO1 and D61) were pooled and cytokine levels were measured.
