It has no other choice.” [48] Sequencing the DNA of inverted CNVs is like looking under the lamppost. It reveals the eventual rearranged junctions (through forms of EJ, HR, and BIR), but may not capture the “key” initiating event (ODIRA) that remains hidden in the shadows.
