Interventions Copper IUD
Treatment: immediate insertion (within 10 minutes of placenta delivery)
Comparison: standard insertion (6 to 8 weeks postpartum)
Outcomes Retention of IUD
Assessment times: 12 hours after insertion; 6 to 8 weeks postpartum
