Figure 5. — The number of ZSCAN4-bound genes that overlap between mouse and human genomes. Mouse and human ChIP-seq peaks are analysed by HOMER’s annotatePeaks.pl to find the genes associated with ZSCAN4 binding. Genes with intron-annotated peaks were selected and compared between human and mouse genomes. ChIP-seq data from two hZSCAN4 antibodies (rabbit and mouse) were used for this analysis. Four thousand six hundred and nineteen genes were found by rabbit Ab, and 2,981 genes were found by mouse Ab. Thousand three hundred and seventy-one genes were used as mZSCAN4-binding genes. Venn diagram shows the overlapping and non-overlapping between mouse and human genomes for each gene set. The number of genes and the example gene names for each set are shown.
