Effect of GW9662 on osteogenic differentiation of stromal stem cells (SSCs). SSCs isolated from 23-month-old female mice were cultured in standard osteogenic induction media supplemented with 5 or 10 µM GW9662 for 7 or 15 days. (A) After 7 days of treatment, cells were fixed and stained with FAST BCIP/NBT buffered substrate to detect ALP activity. (B) After 15 days of treatment, cells were fixed and stained with alizarin red S to visualize mineralized nodules.
