The binding of ¹²⁵I-MHC-I molecules to curliated YMel was measured in the presence of various concentrations of unlabeled human serum albumin (○), human fibronectin (▵), β₂m (•), and MHC-I molecules (▪). Binding was expressed as the percentage of the added radioactivity. The data represent the mean ± SD of two to four separate experiments. The interaction between human serum albumin and YMel was compared to the binding of MHC-I, β₂m, and fibronectin to YMel. Student’s t test showed the difference to be statistically significant (P < 0.001).
