Following endometrial injury, neutrophils migrate to the trauma site, releasing S100A8/A9. S100A8/A9 binds to the extracellular domains of RAGE on the membrane of hEnSCs, activating the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway. Subsequently, it promotes the differentiation of hEnSCs into myofibroblasts, with increased expression of Col1 and α-SMA proteins.
