N = 3,089. PE, physical exercise, SE, self-efficacy, LS, life satisfaction, MIL, meaning in life. Gender, age, grade are the control variables. PE is an independent variable, and MIL is a result variable. This table presents the results of the multiple hierarchical regression analysis of PE, SE, LS and MIL. Boot confidence interval (CI) upper limit (ULCI), and boot CI lower limit (LLCI) are indicative of the standard deviation (SD) of the indirect effect evaluated through the deviation correction percentile Bootstrap approach and the upper and lower limits of the respective 95% confidence intervals (CIs). CI, confidence interval. *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.001.
