Black boxes correspond to the polymorphous regions used for genotyping. SCL2 and SCR2 amplify a 214-bp fragment containing the polymorphous region between nucleotides 179 and 271. CBP-DIAG L and CBP-DIAG R (described by Jonhson et al. [14]) amplify a 435-bp fragment containing the hypervariable region. SCL1 and CBP-DIAG R are used for the first round of nested PCR.
