The supplement of cysteine, GSH, NAC, H₂O₂, FeCl₂ P5P, or NaHS did not induce H₂S release from the 3 tested GSLs. Gh (A), Gr (B), or Gs (C) at 10 μg/mL was mixed with 10 mM cysteine, 10 mM GSH, 10 mM NAC, 100 μM H₂O₂, 100 μΜ FeCl₂ and 1 mM P5P, or 100 μM NaHS, then incubated at 37 °C for 2 h. H₂S released was trapped with lead acetate paper and quantified with ImageJ software (Version 1.43). * p < 0.05 versus all other groups. The experiments were repeated 4 times.
