Enhancement of infectivity by BFLA-1 and lactacystin in U937 cells. U937 cells were infected for 1 h with BH10ψ−E+/RtatpEGFP virus in the absence or presence of either 100 nM BFLA-1, 20 μM lactacystin, or both. The percentage of infected cells in each sample was determined by flow cytometry. The infectivity of the control sample was set to 1 for comparison purposes. Shown are the values of triplicate infections from one of two independent experiments.
